"A wish on a star" é a segunda de uma série de coletâneas celebrando uma das melhores gravadoras independentes inglesas, a Dreamy Records, que não existe mais. Gerenciada por uma garota muito gente fina chamada Tracy, e contando com uma variedade musical que transitava pelo lo-fi, folk rock, experimentações eletrônicas, sadcore e pop music, nos apresentou diversos eps, álbuns, coletâneas, com bandas importantes como Arco, (The real) Tuesday weld, Graham, Summer Hymns,Rivulets (new NickDrake's sounds do nosso século), The Witch hazel sond, entre outros grupos com uma sonoridade no estilo da Él Records e nos bons tempos da London Pavillion.
